All four quarterfinal games of the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) Division II tournament start at 5:30 p.m. on Friday night in the Atlanta suburbs. The league will crown a champion on Sunday after a noon start. That means in the course of 44 and a half hours, the finalists will have to play three grueling contests.
It's a crazy undertaking on some levels, but it's also life in the MCLA where everything – time, budgets, etc. – have to be maximized. All eight of the teams are competing with the same challenges, so there is not much to complain about.
