PCLL-I Postseason Awards Announced
BOSTON – After winning the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League (PCLL) tournament and earning a trip to the 2016 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, Boston College leads the way in the conference’s postseason awards.
The Eagles placed seven players on the 15-man first team All-PCLL squad while raking in three individual awards. Senior goalie Mike Shepard was named the Defensive Player of the Year, freshman attackman Lawson Pisani picked up Rookie of the Year honors while Peter Sessa was tabbed Coach of the Year.
New Hampshire had four representatives on the all-conference first team, including senior attackman Brendan Maloney, who earned Offensive Player of the Year accolades.
Conference runner-up UConn had three players on the first team while Northeastern had one.
