Sierra Nevada Goes B2B in WCLL

NOVATO, Calif. – For the second straight year, Sierra Nevada is the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL) Divison II champion after routing UC Davis, 18-3, on Sunday afternoon.

The victory ensures that Sierra Nevada (14-1) will be heading to the 2016 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour as an automatic qualifier. The nationals will be held from May 9-14 in Orange County, Calif., and the Eagles will find out their seed and matchup this evening.

Sierra Nevada was led by middie Dylon Fangmeier's five goals while long-stick middie Jack Will had three assists and 11 ground balls. The Eagles went up 7-0 after one quarter and led 10-2 at the half in a game that was over early.
