CU Denver Posts Three Positions
The University of Colorado Denver men’s lacrosse program is searching for three assistant coaches to join the team for the 2016-17 season. The lacrosse team is a MCLA Division II program and is administered through the University of Colorado Denver Club Sports program. The selected candidates will serve the team as either the offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator or volunteer assistant coach.

Assistant Coach - Offensive Coordinator
The CU Denver offensive coordinator position’s pay is determined by experience. Candidates are expected to assist the head coach in the day-to- day administration the lacrosse program.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the team offensive philosophy and strategy.
- Instruct players on individual and team offensive concepts.
- Assist with daily practice planning, game preparation, coordinating game film and film exchanges, recruiting, and assisting with team fundraisers.
Desired Assistant Coach Qualities:
- The ideal candidate will have collegiate, high school or high level youth coaching experience and/or playing experience at the collegiate level.
- Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received until the position is filled.
- This individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be mindful that these are top tier MCLA level players who act as members of the team and stewards of the program.
- There must always be respect for the program, the team, and all opposing teams. Always represent the University in a positive fashion and honor the game.
Appointment:
- Commencing with the fall semester 2016, part time
