GREENVILLE, N.C. -- The East Carolina University men’s lacrosse program is conducting a search for the position of head coach for the 2016-2017 season. East Carolina is a member of the South Eastern Lacrosse Conference (North Division) of the MCLA (D1).
Job Description
The coach must be able to maintain a competitive lacrosse program and adhere to all MCLA, SELC, and East Carolina University club sports policies. In addition, the individual must also be able to develop players, implement a structured practice schedule and training regimen to prepare the roster for competition. The head coach will be held accountable by the officers of the team and club sports directors.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruiting and establishing team roster, preparing structured practices, attending all practices and games (home and away) while serving as a positive role model for team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Previous coaching experience is strongly preferred
- Lacrosse experience as a player is required
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizations skills
This is a paid position and will be negotiated upon hire.
