D-I Poll: Yellow Jackets Buzzing
ATLANTA – On the strength of a win over No. 15 Michigan State on Sunday, Georgia Tech has expanded its claim to the No. 1 ranking in the Under Armour MCLA Division I Coaches Poll for a second week.
The Yellow Jackets grabbed 21 of the 24 first place votes this week, ceding the other three to No. 2 Brigham Young, which had a successful weekend in the desert.
Grand Canyon falls a spot to No. 3 after bowing to the Cougars on Monday night while Cal Poly and California fill out the Top 5.
Stanford exited the poll this week, making way for South Carolina in the No. 22 slot.
