ORANGE, Calif. -- Defending champion and top-seeded St. Thomas will get a chance to defend its crown, but they'll have to do it against powerful No. 2 seed Concordia-Irvine in the Eagles backyard when the two meet for the championship of the 2017 MCLA National Championship powered by Under Armour on Saturday.
This will be a rematch of a March 7 contest in Minnesota that the Tommies won in a shootout, 16-12. St. Thomas will be searching for its fifth national championship while Concordia, which played in the 2015 title game, will be striving for its first.
The game is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. PDT with the stream beginning at 11 a.m.
