AUSTIN, Texas – After playing for both Michigan and Johns Hopkins, Gerald Logan has been added to the University of Texas men’s lacrosse staff, according to Longhorns’ head coach Seth Bokmeyer.
Logan will be Texas’ goalie coach for the 2018 campaign.
The Long Island native spent his first three seasons at Michigan, where he set program goaltending records in just about every category. As a freshman in 2013, he led NCAA Division I lacrosse in saves per game (15.07).
In 2015, he was named honorable mention all-Big Ten. He finished as the team MVP in all three season with the Wolverines.
Logan spent the 2017 season with Johns Hopkins as a graduate student. He played in 12 games for the Blue Jays, posting a 4-3 record.
Texas finished the 2017 season with a 12-3 record and No. 20 national ranking.
