The winner of this game meets Grand Canyon in the semifinals.
In the South, Arizona State (7-7, 3-1) grabbed the No. 2S spot, allowing them to host No. 3S San Diego State (6-7, 2-2). The Sun Devils won the regular season affair, 13-7, at home with junior attackman Jake Marthens’ five goals leading the way.
The winner draws Chapman in the semis.
“We’re all very excited to celebrate 10 years of SLC lacrosse,” said SLC director Matt Holman. “In the past three seasons, the team that has won this tournament has won the MCLA national championship. That’s really all you need to know. We’ll see what the future holds, but this will again be must-see lacrosse.”
Both semifinals and the championship game of the SLC Division I Tournament will be streamed live on the SLC YouTube channel with the assistance of TVX Video.
Admission to the first-round games are at the discretion of the hosting institution. General admission tickets (age 8 and up) are $5 daily for the semifinals and finals. Get your tickets before April 22 and save 20 percent.
