Mo. State Captures LSA-II Crown
AUSTIN, Texas – Using its patented stingy defense and efficient offense, Missouri State defeated UT-Dallas in the Division II championship game of the Lone Star Alliance Tournament, 10-5.
With the victory, the Bears (12-2) automatically qualify for the 2018 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, which takes place in Salt Lake City from May 7-12.
This will be Missouri State’s fourth appearance at nationals. They qualified last year as the champion of the now-defunct Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference.
The Bears took a 3-0 lead on the Comets (8-5) in the first quarter and were never really threatened the rest of the way.
