Liberty Unleashes Spring Slate
LYNCHBURG, Va. -- After making its first appearance at the Division I MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour last spring, the Liberty men's lacrosse program has released its schedule for the 2019 campaign.
The Flames will square off eight teams that finished in the final Under Armour Top 25 poll and five teams that played at nationals last spring, highlighted by a March 13 date with defending national champion Michigan State in East Lansing.
"It's going to be the most difficult season in program history," said Liberty coach Kyle McQuillan. "I expect this to be one of the most difficult schedules in all of the MCLA, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to prove ourselves. This team is capable of doing great things this year."
