NDSU’s Orham Earns Goalie of Week
ATLANTA – After a pair of standout performances against two Top 15 teams, North Dakota State junior netminder Noah Orham has been named Pearl’s Goalie of the Week for the period ending Feb. 17.
In a loss to UMLC rival and No. 3 Minn.-Duluth, the Prior Lake, Minn., product stood tall, turning away 18 shots in a 13-11 setback.
On Sunday, the Bison tangled with No. 11 Montana and again Orham rose the occasion, making 12 saves before being lifted in a 20-7 victory.
Over the course of the weekend, Orham made 30 saves against 17 goals against (63.8 save percentage).
“Noah is the backbone of our team,” said North Dakota State coach Zach Bosh. “He is a leader both on and off the field. I couldn’t be more happy for him.”
For his efforts in earning the Pearl’s Performance of the Week, Orham will receive a prize package from Guardian Pearl, a ball that lasts longer than the rest and never greases. Guardian Pearl is the proud partner of the MCLA.
