The visiting Eagles attempted to take control of the game early, racing out to a 5-1 lead to start the game. The Buffaloes countered in the second quarter with a 7-2 run of their own to take an 8-7 lead into halftime.
Colorado opened the second half with a 5-1 skein to take control of the game.
