CARLSBAD, Calif. – After rallying from significant deficit to overtake Arizona State, Chapman is the 2019 Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC) Division I champion. The Panthers took down the Sun Devils, 12-10, at La Costa Canyon High School on Sunday.

With the victory, Chapman (15-2) earned an automatic qualifying berth to the 2019 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour. Arizona State (12-2) was awarded at at-large berth to nationals.

Trailing 9-5 in the second half, the Panthers came charging back to briefly tie the game before pulling away in the fourth.
