ATLANTA – South Carolina senior goalie Colin Hains was tabbed the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) Division I Defensive Player of the year, leading a six-man contingent of Gamecocks that received all-conference recognition this spring.

Liberty senior C.J. Nichols was honored as the Offensive Player of the Year and was one of seven Flames honored.

Georgia Tech’s Ken Lovic and his staff were recognized as the Coaching Staff of the Year and the Ramblin’ Wreck placed three players on the all-conference first team alone.

East Carolina faceoff man Garrett Hess, a first team selection, was also the Specialty Player of the Year in the conference.

Auburn freshman midfielder Lloyd DeLatour was the SELC Rookie of the Year.
