LA CROSSE, Wis. – A global pandemic may have canceled the real MCLA 2020 National Championships presented by New Balance, but that doesn’t mean I won’t declare a virtual winner of this year’s tournament.
Over the course of the coming weeks leading up to May 9 – Championship Saturday – I’ll be breaking down each of the games of the MCLA Virtual Tournament, which, by my decree, will feature 32 teams in both divisions, with precise analytics and a dash of insider knowledge.
Why 32 teams? Because I say so.
To determine the winner of each contest, I will be giving it back to you, the people, to determine who advances. And we will do it via the most scientific method available: Twitter poll.
After careful consideration, I’ve narrowed the field in both divisions to the 32 teams who qualify for this event and seeded them perfectly.
