The SELC Division II Players of the Week for games played March 14 - 20:
Division II Offensive Player of the Week:
Adam Piejak, Kennesaw State - Freshman, Midfield
The Acworth, Ga., native was stellar all weekend at the faceoff dot as the Owls secured two wins. Piejak won 9-of-11 faceoffs (81.2%) and added a pair of points (1g, 1a) in a dominant win over Georgia Southern. He followed that up the next afternoon by winning 13-of-16 face offs against Florida Gulf Coast, helping the Owls to a 16-6 victory.
Division II Defensive Player of the Week:
Dylan D'Angelo, Kennesaw State - Junior, Defense
D'Angelo led the way for the Owls' dominant defensive performances over the weekend. The Roswell, Ga., native scooped up five ground balls in both victories this weekend, and the KSU coaching staff highlighted his contributions in both support defense and in the transition game.
