LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – The Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) moves to Lake Oswego (Ore.) High School for the 2023 conference tournament, which will be held on April 29-30.
Each PNCLL division winner will receive an automatic berth to the 2023 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, which will be held at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex from May 8-13.
BRACKETS: DIVISION I | DIVISION II
The semifinals will open with Division II action at 10 a.m. on Saturday with North top seed Montana (15-2) facing South No. 2 Northwest Nazarene (7-6). The two tangled on April 1 with the visiting Grizzlies posting a 16-4 win thanks to hat tricks from Reece McIntosh and Preston Stewart.
The later D-II semifinals matches up South top seed College of Idaho (6-6) and the second seed out of the North, Western Washington (6-3) at 1 p.m. The teams did not meet during the regular season.
The first Division I semifinal will commence at 4 p.m. and feature top-seeded Simon Fraser (9-0) against No. 4 seed Boise State (8-4). These teams are quite familiar with each having played last Friday with the Red Leafs capturing the 10-6 victory thanks to five goals from Riley Isaacs.
Saturday’s action will wrap up at 7 p.m. when second-seeded Oregon (7-4) runs up against Washington (5-6). The Huskies dropped the Ducks on April 15 bolstered by four goals from Dylan Aiken.
A one-day adult pass will be $10 with children at $5. A two-day adult pass is $15 and children $8, with a stamp/wristband for two-day passes. All six of the games over the weekend will be streamed.
