On Sunday in the finals, Farnan was even better as Tulane upset Missouri State for the title. He posted a career-high 31 stops (79.5 sv%) as the Green Wave won, 10-8.
For the weekend, he made a staggering 53 saves and recorded an 81.5 save percentage.
“Conor came off a great performance against Texas A&M, yet he doubled down with an even better performance in the finals,” said Tulane coach Justin Baker. “Conor is the backbone of the defense and an incredible leader to his teammates in the classroom and on the field.
“He always shows up no matter the game nor the situation. From a coaching standpoint, I can trust him to be the coach on the field and make us right. He's an incredible asset to this program, and we're glad to have him.”
As the recipient of the PEARL Goalie of the Week honor, Farnan will receive a PEARL swag bag of goodies that will include PEARL lacrosse balls – the official ball of the MCLA.
