The Legend of Grayson Bowser: Future OBGYN, Lacrosse GOAT, and Feminist Icon
Alright, let’s get one thing straight—I’m not like other guys. My name’s Grayson Bowser, and I’m a sophomore at the University of Wyoming, where I split my time between absolutely dominating on the lacrosse field and furthering my deep, deep understanding of women through my Gender Studies major. Yeah, you heard that right. Some dudes are out here studying business or engineering like total NPCs, but me? I’m getting in touch with the real issues. You could say I’ve dedicated my life to understanding the female experience.
People always ask me, “Grayson, why Gender Studies?” And to that, I just chuckle and say, “Because women deserve to be heard. Also, it’s, like, 90% girls in my classes, which, let’s be honest, is just smart strategy. But more importantly, I care. I listen. I nod solemnly when the girls talk about the patriarchy, occasionally throwing in a deep “That’s so valid.” I even started bringing a notebook to class, mostly to jot down key insights like Women love astrology and Say ‘gaslight’ in casual conversation for bonus points.
But my true calling? Obstetrics and gynecology. Some people were meant to be astronauts, some were meant to be great artists, and I? I was meant to spend my life dedicated to the field of… women’s health. I just think it’s so important, you know? Women deserve a doctor who really understands them. A guy who isn’t just in it for the money or the prestige—but for the passion. Every time I mention this at parties, girls give me this look, like they’re trying to process whether it’s sweet or incredibly disturbing. Classic.
Lacrosse? Oh yeah, I play midfield. Fast feet, quick hands, great stamina—qualities that translate well to other areas, if you know what I mean (and I always make sure to say that out loud). The fellas on the team razz me about my major, but I just tell them, “I’m playing the long game, bro.” While they’re busy trying to slide into DMs, I’m out here respectfully understanding the female perspective. Who’s the real winner?
Med school is on the horizon, and yeah, the competition is stiff, but I’ve been shadowing a local OBGYN, soaking in the knowledge, getting hands-on experience ;) metaphorically speaking. Some might say I’m too passionate about my field. To them, I say: is it really possible to be too passionate about women’s health? I don’t think so.
At the end of the day, I just want to help. To listen. To make a difference. And if, along the way, a few lucky ladies happen to be impressed by my unique combination of athleticism, intellect, and unwavering dedication to their well-being—well, that’s just a bonus.
