SEATTLE – After rolling through their respective subdivisions, the College of Idaho and Montana have earned top seeds in the 2019 Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) Division II tournament which starts this Friday in Missoula, Mont.

All three rounds of the six-team tournament will be held on the campus of the University of Montana (schedule below), with the champion earning an automatic qualifying berth to the 2019 MCLA national Championships powered by Under Armour, which will take place in Salt Lake City from May 6-11.

2019 PNCLL DIVISION II TOURNAMENT BRACKET

The College of Idaho (10-0, 4-0 PNCLL) earned the top seed out of the South subdivision and will face the winner of the opening first round contest between North No. 2 Central Washington (6-2, 3-1) and South No. 3 Southern Oregon (5-4, 2-2).

Montana (8-5, 4-0 PNCLL) took the top seed out of the North subdivision and the Grizzlies will face the winner of the opening first round contest between South second seed Western Oregon (8-3, 3-1) and North third seed Gonzaga (3-6, 2-2).

“We’ve got several teams in the hunt for a bid to nationals, which ratchets up the intensity in all of these games,” said PNCLL director Jason Stockton. “The University of Montana will be a fantastic site for these exciting contests.”

Admission will be $10 per game or they can buy a weekend pass for $20. Teams in the playoffs have free admission all weekend. No alcohol or pets are allowed in the stadium.

First Round – April 26
GAME 1: #3S Southern Oregon vs. #2N Central Washington, 1 p.m.
GAME 2: #3N Gonzaga vs. #2S Western Oregon, 4 p.m.

Semifinals – April 27
GAME 1 winner vs. #1S College of Idaho, 10 a.m.
GAME 2 winner vs. #1N Montana, 1 p.m.

Finals – April 28
Semifinal winners, 11 a.m.
